Liberal Nationals will ban auctions on Anzac Day prior to 1pm
A Liberal Nationals Government will ban the holding of auctions on Anzac Day prior to 1pm.
There are already significant restrictions in place regarding shops, cinemas and entertainment trading on Anzac Day before 1pm and the Liberal Nationals will extend these to apply to property auctions.
Anzac Day is a time of solemn commemoration and the Liberal Nationals will not allow anyone to openly disrespect this important time of remembrance.
